On this cool, breezy, sunny day the bees are flying! They're returning laden down with bright orange (dandelion?) pollen for their brood. My camera isn't up to micro-photography, but it's pretty easy to see the pollen packs on this bee's legs, as she rests in front of the hive before entering. The bees have taken very little syrup.

On this cool, breezy, sunny day the bees are flying! They're returning laden down with bright orange (dandelion?) pollen for their brood.
